Levon Djenderedjian, MD

Ophthalmologist

Specializing in Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery. Dr. Djenderedjian, known by his patients as Dr. DJ, completed his residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He then went on to complete his Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. A native of California, he returned to the Bay Area to establish his practice. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, hiking, running, and cooking.

Joseph Barakeh, DO, PhD

Ophthalmologist

With over twenty years of experience treating a wide variety of eye conditions, Dr. Barakeh is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in precision cataract surgery. He earned his PhD in Pharmacology from Emory University and conducted biomedical research before obtaining his osteopathic medical degree from Southeastern University of the Health Sciences. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2001. Dr. Barakeh lives in the Bay Area with his wife and children.

Dr. Elaine Wu, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Wu was born in Los Angeles and received her B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley and is a proud permanent resident of the East Bay. She received training at various clinics, including the Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic in Washington, as well as at Hayward Wellness Center. She is glaucoma certified and can treat a wide array of eye conditions. She is also trained to fit specialty contact lenses, and is comfortable seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Wu is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin.

When she is not seeing patients, she likes to cook food of all kinds, read, weightlift, and spend time with her husband and friends. She is also an active member of the Alameda Contra Costa County Optometric Association and is heavily involved in her church
